Detroit Photo Bank
To address the limited availability of positive images of Black and Brown fathers, 16 fathers and their children were invited to be photographed. The Detroit Fatherhood Photo Bank currently has over 180 downloadable images of Detroit fathers and their children for use in flyers, brochures, presentations, and physical spaces. The Photo Bank is available to community providers and members in Detroit and elsewhere to use as a resource to highlight the true narrative of fatherhood and create father-friendly environments.

Detroit Father-Friendly Principles
The Workgroup used two of the monthly sessions to listen to, reflect on, and discuss findings from the first focus group that Detroit Dads participated in. The reflection and discussion helped the Workgroup identify 10 Detroit Father-Friendly Principles (DFFP). The DFFP serve as a guide for Detroit family service programs and agencies to intentionally, respectfully, and effectively serve and support fathers and father-figures.
